Rismi wine is a white wine with a fresh and intense aroma that is pleasant on any occasion.
The Riesling and Chardonnay grapes used to make this wine are white grapes grown in the hills of Lake Garda where the Mediterranean climate and lake breezes give the grapes a unique and distinctive flavor.
Its aroma is aromatic, fresh and fruity; to the eye it is a shiny light straw yellow with greenish highlights: this is the typical color of wines from the pressing of full-bodied, good-graded grapes.
To fully enjoy Rismi it should be served at a temperature between 11 and 12°C , it can also be used to nuance dishes and give a special aroma to a preparation when it is already cooked: a fragrant risotto, a roast of white meats or also to be used in the preparation of a homemade giardiniera with extra virgin olive oil and wine vinegar.
The La Guarda winery, which produces this excellent wine, uses traditional and modern techniques to produce high quality wines.

Lake Garda Riesling Rismì: origin, pairings and tasting tips
What is Riesling Rismì and where does it come from?
This is a Brescian white wine with a fresh, mineral profile, produced in the Valtènesi area (Muscoline, Lake Garda). The data sheet lists an alcohol content of about 12% vol. and a blend that includes Riesling (with the presence of Chardonnay). The Lake Garda microclimate gives citrus notes and a streamlined drink, perfect for aperitifs or lake cuisine. The imprint is artisanal, with attention to terroir and seasonality: a Riesling del Garda with an everyday but curated character.
How to store it at home and how long does it last once opened?
Storage: bottles lying in a dark and cool place (12-16°C), protected from temperature changes and vibrations. For young whites such as this, consumption within 1-3 years after bottling is recommended to appreciate fragrance and acid tension.
After opening: close with airtight cap and store in refrigerator; ideally finish it within 2-3 days. If you lose aromatic brilliance, use it in cooking (risottos, sautéed vegetables) to avoid waste.
What to pair Riesling Rismì with and at what temperature to serve it?
Serve it at 8-10°C in a tulip-shaped glass to enhance its aromas and verticality.
Pairings: lake and sea fish (steamed or grilled), rice salads, seasonal vegetables, sushi, savory pies, fresh cow or goat cheeses.
For aperitifs: excellent with delicate cured meats and herb flatbreads.
Avoid overly spicy sauces or strong smokiness.
This is a white wine from Lake Garda with an agile soul: pair with simple, clean dishes to enhance its minerality.
Who produces it and what is the connection to the area?
Rismì Riesling comes from an artisanal winery in Valtènesi, in the hilly Brescian area overlooking Lake Garda. The mild microclimate, lake winds and moraine soils contribute to its freshness and typical savory note. The supply chain is short: vineyards, winery and bottle dialogue with the local cuisine (lake fish, wild herbs, Garda oils). It is an ideal choice for those looking for a terroir white with clear identity and affordable price.
