bbuono was born in Vestone, a small town in the province of Brescia, the geographical center of the Valle Sabbia. Its origins are very ancient: the latest archaeological findings give for certain a Roman settlement and a probable prehistoric settlement right in Vestone, on the Mocenigo plain.

Vestone, in addition to being the seat of the Mountain Community, is a tourist destination for those visiting the mines of Val Trompia, the smelting furnaces of Val Sabbia, and Europe’s largest military settlement at Rocca d’Anfo.

Its strategic location right in the center of the Brescian valleys (Vallesabbia, Valletrompia, Valvestino, Valcamonica, Valtenesi) and in the middle between Lake Garda andIdro, makes Vestone a busy place to pass through and the reference point for a short stop for the countless tourists who decide to go skiing in Gaver or Madonna di Campiglio, as well as for bikers and cyclists who enjoy the tour of the 3 lakes (Idro, Garda, Iseo) and the Brescian valleys.

It is also a place of passage for countless sporting events, especially mountain bike and road bike races, such as the Conca D’Oro Bike and the Tre Campanili marathon.
