Mountain acacia honey, unpasteurized, has a delicate and sweet flavor without strong notes, making it particularly loved by children and suitable for all palates.

This Acacia honey is produced in Provaglio Valsabbia (BS) by Martina and Alessandro at the Poscavrì farm. The bees forage on numerous acres of meadows and woods filled with flowers. This helps give the acacia honey a variety of aromas from the flowers found in the mountainous area.

From the hives nestled among the mountain landscapes, the bees are free to get out and move in the naturalistic surroundings of the surrounding valleys and forage on a variety of flowers found in the area.

Only two hundred meters from Poscavrì still stands a historic forest whose origins date back to the early twentieth century: it is from these trees and meadows that bees get the nectar they need to produce their honey.

Learn more about acacia honey

What is acacia (locust) honey and what are its characteristics?

This is a monofloral honey from locust trees: very clear, mild fragrance, very sweet and clean taste. It stays fluid for a long time due to high fructose; perfect for sweetening without covering. In the areas between Lake Garda and the Brescian valleys, flowering is between May and early June, so vintage and climate affect the profile.

Where does our artisan acacia honey come from?

We select small beekeeping farms that follow flowering between the hills of Lake Garda and the pre-Alps of Brescia (nomadism). Cold extraction, light filtrations and no pasteurization protect aromas and biodiversity. Short supply chain and attention to bee welfare. The taste may vary according to the vintage: it is a sign of the artisanal processing of the territory. Discover all our artisan honeys
