From the city to the mountains to live a tasteful dream
We are immersed in the hills of Provaglio Valsabbia where we discovered the Poscavrì farm. A family-run business nestled in the woods of the Valsabbia mountains that produces, in an artisanal and completely manual way, many mountain products.
The owners are Martina and Alessandro, two young people who left the city to live their dream in full contact with nature.

Living and living in places like these is really challenging; it takes great passion and respect for nature.
Martina and Alexander have it all! They strive daily to give us excellent productions that we look forward to presenting to you.
We’ll tell you right away “the secret” of Poscavri’s good and genuine honey: unspoiled nature and their great passion.
Their farm is surrounded by woods, full of green nooks and crannies where plants such as Thyme, peppermint climbing rosellas, elderberry, healing wild herbs and many, many other little plants grow.
In Provaglio Valsabbia, Martina and Alessandro live in perfect harmony with their surroundings, learning every day to respect and love it so that it can bear fruit.
Their meadow (about one hectare) when it is in bloom is a unique sight, and the bees use it to collect pollen from the finest flowers and make pure, high-quality honey.
They have an incredible apiary, which is perched on the mountain, far from urbanized areas, factories, and industrial zones. Intensive farming has never come to these parts, and no pesticides or insecticides are used.
Nature, unspoiled environment, a lot of love and passion: this is what allows Poscavrì to obtain natural and genuine honey.

Their honey is pure and high quality with a unique taste, given by the area and harvesting period (the Chestnut variety in 2020 ranked Third as the best honey in Lombardy winning the Silver Bee award).
In addition to honey, there is also pollen, a nutritional treasure, energizing for the body and mind, a food supplement from which we can benefit from its numerous properties.
Not to mention the very tasty honey-based candies with the addition of various flavors. Honey and Strawberry, honey and Berries, honey and Propolis, honey Lemon and Ginger.

A perfect combination of vitamins and protein, ideal for recharging ahead of a strenuous day or after your usual exercise.
All of Poscavrì’s products have a “mountain product” designation.
This quality indication (issued by the European Commission) aims to promote the recognizability and characteristics of the agri-food productions of mountain territories, with which the small companies of our territory tell their stories made of traditions, quality and goodness.
The “Mountain Product” label was created to show how these companies guarantee the consumer an authentically mountain product, while also ensuring that the highest quality standards are met as well as unparalleled taste.
