Passion and love for their land are the values that most characterize Duilio and Sharon, the two very young owners of the Dosso Alto and Campel malga
The Dosso Alto malga is named after the mountain that represents the highest elevation of the eastern Brescian chain.
It lies immediately south-southeast of the Maniva Pass and is part of the peaks belonging to the Maniva ski area, a well-known Brescian ski resort.
The Dosso Alto malga is located at 1,400 meters and is run by Duilio and Sharon, a young couple full of energy who love their land and their valleys. They have both decided to carry on the family tradition and continue living in this corner of paradise by carrying on the ancient methods of production and treating the animals as if they were their own children.
Duilio and Sharon have fifty cows that at the first growth of spring grass graze at Malga Campel, then as the grass grows higher and higher, they move to the main farmstead, at 1,600 meters above sea level, at Malga Dosso Alto where the animals stay from July to October.
