The Sparkling Brut 105 Rosé wine is a rarely found harmony and balance that brings out the best in the Sangiovese grapes grown in Valtènesi.
Gigi’s love for this sparkling wine is obsessive, which he created to best enhance the Sangiovese grapes grown on the hillside, where they find the ideal soil and climatic conditions to express themselves at their best.
The name 105 derives from the days that separated the harvesting of the Sangiovese grapes to the bottling of the wine the first time it was made.
A very short period precisely so that the refermentation in autoclaves can maintain and enhance, through effervescence, the characteristics of freshness, fruitiness, and primary aromas, reminiscent of the must just extracted from the skins, thus maintaining the typical varietal characteristics of Sangiovese.
The La Guarda winery, which produces this excellent wine, uses traditional and modern techniques to produce high quality wines.

Garda sparkling wine Brut 105 Rosé: origin, pairing and service
What is Brut 105 Rosé sparkling wine and where does it come from?
Garda rosé bubbles signed Azienda Agricola La Guarda, in the Valtènesi (Brescia side of Lake Garda).
Made with re-fermentation in an autoclave (Martinotti/Charmat Method) to enhance freshness, aromas of violets and berries, fine perlage and dry(brut) sip. Grapes are from the terroir (Groppello, Marzemino, Barbera and Sangiovese), in an agile, contemporary style.
At what serving temperature do you drink it and how do you store it?
Serve well chilled at 6-8 °C, in a tulip glass or flute; if it has just arrived, let it rest in the refrigerator 2-3 hours.
Store the bottle dark, cool and horizontally; after opening, use a sparkling wine stopper and keep in the refrigerator: Rosé Brut yields best within 24-36 hours.
What are the recommended pairings with sparkling wine Rosé Brut 105?
Perfect as an aperitif and with light dishes: lake fish (trout, whitefish), sushi and raw seafood, salmon tartare, summer salads, gourmet pizza, fresh cheeses and delicate cured meats.
Its fruity streak and lively bubble cleanse the palate without covering up flavors: also excellent with vegetarian cuisine and finger foods.
What is the difference between 105 Rosé and 105 Blanc?
Both are Martinotti Method brut sparkling wines, but the 105 Rosé focuses on notes of red fruits and violets, ideal for aperitifs and savory dishes; the 105 Blanc is more floral/citrusy, snappy and super versatile with finger food, crudités and light fried foods.
These are two souls of Garda: choose Rosé for more structure, Blanc for maximum freshness.
