In the old days, jams and marmalades were prepared with infinite patience by expert housewives; today what has been handed down to us from their experience combined with more modern technology allows us to enjoy equally fine products.
Biodase Farm’s organic jams are made with fruit sourced exclusively from the Biodase plantation located at 1,000 meters above sea level in Pertica Bassa (Vallesabbia – BS) and conducted organically.
The fruit is harvested at the right ripeness and immediately processed in the on-site laboratory.
Tasting: luscious and naturally sweet this cream lends itself to many uses that enhance its authentic flavor. It is perfect spread on toast or rusks for a hearty breakfast or a mouth-watering snack. It turns into the ideal filling for cakes, tarts, cookies or crepes, giving softness and flavor in every layer.
Caught in its most rustic accents, it goes well with blue or fresh cheeses where the sweet-creamy contrast adds depth to appetizers and chopping boards. Even as a topping on ice cream or parfaits, on yogurt or on whipped cream, it succeeds in adding a gourmet touch to the simplest desserts.
In the fall and winter months it finds a special place when added to creams, porridge or as an ingredient in cake fillings; flavored with vanilla or lemon zest it becomes even more intriguing.
