By adopting an olive tree for yourself or as a gift for someone you love, you’ll have the chance to savor a piece of authentic rural life from the Lake Garda area. How does adoption work?
Adopting an olive tree is really simple.
Choose the adoption plan you prefer most from the four options: Supporter, 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months.
Every month, we’ll send you a portion of the production from the tree you adopted.

Shipments will be made monthly (throughout Italy) within 30 days from the date of your order to the address you want (at home, at the office, or at the gift recipient’s home).
Get a real adoption certificate
Besides sending you the fruits of the adopted tree’s production every month, we’ll also send you a beautiful adoption certificate of your tree with your name and the adoption period, both digitally and physically in the first delivery.
You’ll also receive a photo of Simon, the owner of the company, next to the adopted olive tree with a tag showing your name and the adoption period.
The certificate will also be sent digitally along with the photo a few days after the order.
A small gesture, a big help to the Poggioriotto farm
An ambitious initiative and project that bbuono wanted to carry out to help a company that was already struggling in 2019 due to adverse weather conditions and a disease called “olive fruit drop.” These caused a collapse in yields and organoleptic characteristics, leading to a 70% drop in the production of Garda DOP BIO Poggioriotto, an oil that was already quite limited.
Now, in 2020, another big problem is on the horizon. The fight against the olive fly and moth has begun with the installation of pheromone monitoring traps for control and capture.
For the farms located on the beautiful hills of Lake Garda that produce extra virgin olive oil, there is fear of another bad year which, combined with the tough times of Covid, could lead to the permanent closure of some small excellent businesses.
bbuono is committed daily to supporting the agricultural activities of small farms and with them the environment, the landscape, the traditions, the culture that is passed down. Besides environmental protection, our commitment involves enhancing the territory as a whole, which is why we decided to start this olive tree adoption project, so that you too, by enjoying its fruits, can support a small local farm, keep precious traditions alive and the heritage of local culture.
Questions and answers about adopting an olive tree
Can I gift the adoption and put it in someone else’s name?
Absolutely yes! 😀
Just mention it in the order notes or message us on Whatsapp. The certificate will show the name of the person you want to gift the adoption of an olive tree from Lake Garda to.
When will I receive the products with the paper certificate?
From the order receipt, usually within a couple of days, we’ll personally go to the producer to take the photo with your certificate. The next day, we’ll send you the digital photo and ship your package with the adoption products and certificate via express delivery.
I don’t have an email, can I get the photos on WhatsApp?
Yes! Just let us know your request in the order notes and we’ll send the photos directly to your phone number.
What quality will the photos I receive be?
The photos you receive can be printed on an A3 sheet without any deterioration. We’ll send everything via email in high quality within a few days from the time of adoption.
